Hi guys

trying to download various files from MEGA 3Gb to 20Gb but no matter what machine or what engine i use i am getting out of memory HTML5 anywhere between 0 and 60% . Cleared casch, used CC cleaner to clear cookies etc. Still cant get it.

Anyone got any pointers thanks

Are you sure that you are saving directly to a directory on a hard drive with lots of free space. Sounds as if you are downloading to ram, or a limited size temp file. I use xp with chrome and have no issues at all. Have you another machine to try?

install mega app and download through it , thats a solution Wink

I get the problem in Chrome.

Fix is settings > show advance settings > content settings... > all cookies and site data... >

search for "mega" and delete the cookie

thanks guys. tried the delete cookies on chrome

USED chrome and firefox on 2 different computers one with empty hard drive. how do you change where mega downloads too.

Anyone got a link to this app

Just for anyone else reading this thread;

MEGA's browser download method writes temporary into RAM (Memory, not Hard Disk space). Downloading smaller files, sub 2GB is usually easily managed by most people, but larger files, you're much better using the App or software such as JDownloader.

To download a 20GB archive in one go, through a web browser, would require a minimum of 20GB RAM and 20GB HDD space.
